4th February 2011 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: 25-35 knots Surf / Sea State: 3-4 foot messy surf Air Temperature: 10ºC Sea Temperature: 7ºC Weather: Cloudy Max Speed: Distance Covered: Pretty big out there today but perfectly powered with my little wave board and a 4.5m sail. First run out the back was good, came back in gybed and then pulled the trigger on a forward loop of the next wave. Rotated perfectly and actually though i was going to land it but was higher than I thought and over-rotated just a tiny bit. Result was a face-full of boom and a big hole in my lip. I had a few more runs afterwards but though I'd better pack up and head home to inspect the damage so only a short session in the end. It's beginning to hurt now as well.
